The #HitBreakfastShow With Ukay & Dr Groove    The organised labour in Cross River State under the auspices of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC), on Monday, issued a 21-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to release the Environmental Impact (Assessment ( facebook EIA) for the Bakassi deep Seaport and the 260km superhighway. In a solidarity march around major streets of Calabar, the organized labour numbering over ten thousand and led by the state NLC Chairman, Mr. John Ushie and his TUC counterpart, Mr. Clarkson Otu, unanimously asked the Ministry of the Environment and the various relevant agencies of the federal government to stop playing petty politics with the future of the state. EFCC acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, appeared before the senate this morning for screening and confirmation. While answering questions from Senators, Magu said former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Dieziani Alison-Madueke, who is being investigated for engaging in corrupt practices while in office, ran off to London with her clique but that the agency will work to get them arrested.
